Founded in Nakuru

We Are Griincom — Born from a Belief That Waste Is Wealth

As a pioneering social enterprise in the heart of Nakuru, Kenya, we bridge the gap between environmental responsibility and agricultural productivity. Since our inception in 2020, we have redefined waste management as a circular resource engine.

From a Problem to a Purpose

In 2020, Nakuru faced a mounting waste crisis. What others saw as a burden, we saw as an opportunity. Our journey began with traditional composting, working hand-in-hand with local communities to divert organic waste from overflowing landfills.

As we evolved, so did our technology. Driven by a commitment to “science-backed” reliability, we pivoted to Black Soldier Fly (BSF) technology—a radical shift that transformed waste into high-quality insect protein and organic fertilizer at an industrial scale.
